Students will develop an understanding of the relationship between sound and vibrating materials as well as the availability of light and the ability to see objects. How can we use our knowledge of light and sound to design communication devices?

Students learned about pushes and pulls. Through hands-on investigations and connections to literature, students identified properties contributing to the size and strength of forces. In this assessment, students drew illustrations of pushes and pulls, identifying probable reactions. Students are expected to construct a brain model, out of clay, plasticine or everyday material communicating the anatomy and functions of the brain.

Students are encouraged to apply creativity! Take your knowledge of our solar system and create a 3D model. Planets should be in the correct order and proportioned to each other. All planets should be clearly labled.
